Well here we go. I'm back on the WBG horse. Let's see how it pans out. I've gotten the VM up that will be hosting the new LAMP environment.  Cent OS is essentially Red Hat, but it's yum repositories are a bit screwed and took some time to get installed. I'll take a break until I'm ready for anther swing at it. Once the server is tip top I'll start serving up all the sites here again.

As of the last date this server was alive it was hosting about 7 domains. I will likely start hosting more, but that will require some security lockdowns, etc. I'll see what it requires, but it likely won't make much of a difference on the front end.

Anyhow, here are some tidbits from the interwebs at large:

Metal Foam - A lighter, stronger material than "Real Metal" : It's planned to be used in body armor and new vehicle plating for the military. It's also planned to be used in buildings, and more. It seems to me like it should be tested a bit more before we dive right in, but it shows a lot of promise.

If only he'd spent his millions and millions of OIL MONEY on the environment instead of killing innocent people, then his voice would actually mean something. IDIOT.

The wingnuts at PETA have finally taken over - They want Punxsutawney Phil to be replaced by a robot : They believe that the tradition of making him come out is too stressful for him. Now forget about the Forida Panther and the California Condor. Let's go make sure the groundhog is not too 'stressed out'.

Bear Vs . Cat - This cat is not scared of this bear : It actually chases off a damn bear!

Probably the toughest kid on the face of the planet - He had both arms and legs cut halfway off : Due to a bacterial infection when he was a baby. He's still on the wrestling team, he still scooters around and skateboards..... on his arms...
